How you can help

Since starting the Computers for Soldiers® program we have frequently been asked how to help.   We haveover the last few months we have worked with a few charities to make laptops available to those in need.  To see who we have donated laptops to in the past, see our "Thanks To" page.

If you would like to help, the below please find some options:


Purchase a Laptop for a Family in Need
If you would like to purchase a laptop for a family in need, please let us know.  We can arrange to ship a laptop directly to a military family on your behalf.  However, since we are not a 501(c)(3) organization,we can not provide a receipt that can be used for a tax write off.    

The total cost to purchase / ship a laptop to a family in need is $225. 

Plus, for every laptop purchased for a family in need, Arizona Computer Outlets will donate a webcam. 
 

Donate Your Old Laptop

If you have a business class IBM, HP or Dell laptop that you would like to donate, please contact us - we will help you evaluate if the computer would be usable.  If the computer can be used, we can help you make it ready for donation by erasing your old data with a fresh "wipe & reload" of the operating system.  We can also perform a "tune up" to optimize the computer and return the machine to its original speed and performance before it is sent to a family in need.  As with new laptops purchased for a family, Arizona Computer Outlets® will donate a webcam and arrange shipping.
